✨ Part-Time Depop & Resale Assistant (Minneapolis Area: In-Person → Hybrid)
I’m looking for a reliable, trustworthy assistant to help support the resale side of my business, primarily through my Depop shop and related organization. This role focuses on photographing, listing, organizing, and shipping items, along with some light social media and administrative support related to resale. A girl just has too many things and clothes, and I need help managing it. 🤷🏻♀️ My bins are full!
Because this position is posted directly on my site, you'll see I'm an independent companion. This role, however, is focused on the resale and organizational side of my brand, not client bookings or related communication.
This position will be in-person to start, with the potential to transition to hybrid over time. It is temporary at first, with the possibility of becoming ongoing if the role is a good fit and my business continues to grow. The initial goal is to get my Depop fully set up and running smoothly; from there, the role may expand, evolve, or conclude depending on needs and value alignment.
Schedule, Structure & Details
Part-time, temporary to start, approximately 10-20 hours per week during the initial setup and upload phase
Typically 2–4 days per week, flexible based on your availability
After the initial upload phase is complete, hours may reduce to 1–2 shorter days per week focused on shipping, inventory upkeep, and occasional support
In-person initially, with potential hybrid flexibility over time
Pay discussed based on experience ($25–$40/hour, likely cash)
The role may remain ongoing in a lighter capacity or expand depending on business growth and the value the position brings
What you’ll help with
Photographing and uploading items to my Depop Shop or similar platforms
Writing descriptions and helping price listings
Packaging and shipping sold items
Inventory tracking and organization
Handling basic email communication related to resale customers
Assisting with social media posts related to resale items
Light administrative organization (spreadsheets, tracking, sorting)
Occasional errands or in-person support
Very occasional casual photos of me when we’re already out together (non-client, non-admin)
Requirements
Must be a Minnesota resident
Must be able to reliably travel to the southern suburbs of Minneapolis–St. Paul (I am located south of the cities, within ~15-20 minutes of the Mall of America)
Valid driver’s license, car, insurance, and proof of all three.
The car requirement may be flexible if you live very nearby and can drive/have a clean driving record.
A newer phone with a strong camera capable of taking clean, well-lit product photos (or a real camera if photography is your thing)
Punctual, dependable, and highly organized
Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain discretion
Comfortable occasionally working with me at my apartment, photo studios, or running errands
Comfortable assisting with social media content related to resale
Must be comfortable working in an environment where adult content and very occasional nudity may be present as part of professional work.

Relevant Experience
Relevant experience may include (but is not limited to): resale platforms such as Depop, Poshmark, or eBay; personal or administrative assistant roles; inventory or fulfillment work; smartphone or beginner product photography; managing or assisting with social media accounts; or supporting an independent or creative business.
Reliability, discretion, integrity, and good judgment matter more to me than formal credentials.

I’m generally kind, relaxed, understanding (and a stoner), but I also value professionalism and clear boundaries. I’m looking for someone who can work comfortably within that balance and treat this as a real, respectful role.
Because of the nature of my work and the privacy involved, the selected candidate will be required to sign a standard non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before beginning the role.
